Maternity and paternity rights could cut for employees in SME.
The Government is considering cutting back employment law rights for employees for employed in a company with less than 10 employees or less as part of a growth strategy designed to kick start the UK economy, the Chancellor George Osborne is considering cutting down the complicated employment rights for micro businesses which may include exemption from maternity and paternity leave rights in an effort to make life easier for UK employers to expand their business and control costs.
If the proposals are backed in law, it could mean that employers will have the right to negotiate maternity and paternity leave directly with employees.
